Ocean Telecom Announces Sponsorship Deal With Welsh Premier League Champions

Ocean Telecom, Shropshire’s leading provider of mobile, fixed-line and cloud-based communications solutions, has announced a new sponsorship deal with The New Saints FC for the 2015/6 season which kicks off with an away match against Haverfordwest County on Saturday 22nd August. As part of this sponsorship, Ocean Telecom signage has been added to the main stand at the Saints’ Park Hall stadium.

According to Jeremy Rose, Managing Director of Ocean Telecom: “We are very excited about associating our business with The New Saints, which last season celebrated a famous domestic treble and officially becoming the most successful club in Welsh history. This sponsorship provides us with access to the club’s extensive social media links and Sgorio programming on S4C which will significantly raise awareness of the Ocean Telecom brand.”

Ocean Telecom has also helped the Saints to become one of the most technologically advanced football clubs in the Welsh League. After conducting a thorough review of its communications requirements, Ocean provided the latest super-fast fibre broadband connections to support the club’s website, which receives over 20,000 visits every month, and the TNS Radio service, which broadcasts live commentary and interviews at every game for listeners around the world. The company has also supplied the club with one of the latest internet-based telephone systems that is already delivering significant savings on call charges.

“We are delighted to be working with Ocean Telecom which is the latest in a long line of organisations, including Derma V10 and Total Network Solutions, to have experienced massive business growth as a direct result of including The New Saints as an integral part of their marketing activities,” added Mike Harris, Chairman of The New Saints. “The Dafabet Welsh Premier League offers unparalleled marketing opportunities to smaller and medium sized companies at a fraction of the cost of the English League and we look forward to announcing further partnerships over the coming months.”
